Interview for NewWebPick Issue 22
We’ve been interviewed once again by NewWebPick e-zine for Issue No.22.
Here are the answers to their questions:
Tell us a little bit about your background?
Everyone Knows is a brainchild of Basil, Sergey, Alex and Andrew – young and ambitious professionals from the Eastern Europe who’s goal is to make world better by making it at least prettier.
The area of expertise stretches from web and print design and illustration to programming and animation.
Who are your main inspirations?
What are your influences?
We’re easily inspired by simple things that surround us, the things we usually don’t notice. Every once in a while we are inspired by the mass conciousness of the world that drives the trends but that’s mostly an exception.
How do you keep motivated and interested?
It is many years since we started doing what we do now and it still doesn’t feel like any motivation is needed to continue.
Do you have any new projects coming up that you can tell us about?
Most of our upcoming projects are need-to-know information. The biggest is the one for the VIACOM corporation – again, under disclosure :)
What do you know about your country’s design/designers?
Recently the desigers from Russia and Ukraine entered the world’s design scene with non-standard projects, top-notch quality work and our-of-the-box thinking. We’re very glad this is happening and hope that it is only the beginning.
Any words you would like to pass it to new comer designers?
The design community is still full of opportunities for the all kind of talanted young people. Join and show the world your creativity and uniqueness!
What is your most favorite commercial design of your own?
Most certainly it was The Morph Thing (www.morphthing.com). Mostly because we absolutely enjoyed the services they provide – it is the endless recource of lolz.
Name 8 designers you like it most?
Scott Hansen is the guy number one most of the time, others are Alex Trochut, Peter Jaworowsky, Nik Ainley, Si Scott, Craig Ward, Leo Burnett and recently Yulia Brodskaya.
Any final comments?
